Rigging Beam Clamps are good for simple attachment to the bottom of a level I beam for loads up to 5 tons. They are commonly used to support 1 ton chain hoists when the top of an I beam is covered over by architectural material, thereby blocking the use of a sling over the top of the beam. These clamps are designed for flat and level beam applications only. Designed for standard S and wide flange W beams. For most applications, chain slings will have a lower cost than beam clamps.
